Slacker

It's been pointed out to me that I am being somewhat of a slacker when it comes to my blog...okay, so it wasn't those exact words, but I must admit that I have been kind of neglecting my blog. But, I am so busy with photo shoots!! I am not traveling for work for the rest of the year, so it's "catch up" time!

Here is the Smith family...oh, how precious this family is to me! They welcome me into their home everytime I'm in Louisville and make me feel like family. Thanks, Gang!

This is how I feel

Between packing, moving, unpacking, traveling, photo shoots, photo editing, my day job and becoming a first time home owner, let's just say I'm a little exhausted!

Suprise, Amy!

Here are some sneak peeks from my friend, Amy's, photo session in Louisville, KY. Her boys are the adorable blondes. And her sister and bro-in-law have that precious little man. I could eat him up! And that beautiful couple??? That would be her parents! :)

Mac is here!

Yeah, he's been here for a little while, and I am just now able to post pictures of him! This little bundle of joy belongs to my friend, Renee. You may remember a few posts back, I took maternity pictures of her at the beach! He is now almost 5 weeks old!

He loves his feet

Oh, Graham...just 4 months old (almost 5!). This little guy (my youngest nephew) is the most precious, adorable, cutest little 4 month old on the planet. Seriously. Look at him!

So, he's starting to develop a little personality...laughing at just about anyone and anything. But what really cracks him up is his feet. Show him his feet and he just laughs. It's so fun to watch how serious he gets when he tries to reach for his own feet!

An old friend

Lamby. John Collier and his "lamby." It's his thing. It's what he's attached to. When he stayed over at "Beph's" house several weeks back, I wanted to get some pictures of him with his lamby...of course, there are about 3 or 4 of them now. When Adrienne has to wash them, there must be a spare! But, if all are available, he will sleep with every single one of them...along with several monkeys! I don't know how he sleeps with all of that in his bed, but he does!

Oh, how precious are these two pumpkins?! Quite the busy bees, but not to fear...I WAS able to keep up with them...somewhat! :) I was able to get in my much needed exercise. Ha!

Temporarily booked

Hi! I've been getting many requests for photo shoots now that we are nearing Christmas. I've got a lot going on with my day job and moving soon, so I am now temporarily booked until January. I am going to take December off as I did last year. Because it takes a long time for me to edit the photos, I will have to stop taking appts. (THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE MY WEEKEND IN LOUSIVILLE!)

Well, it basically means that I don't want to get in over my head! I know that many of you want pictures in time for Christmas, and I want to be able to deliver! :) I am already behind as it is, so I want to stop taking appts., and if I feel that I can add a few more, I will post here when/if I do resume. (IF YOU HAVE ALREADY CONTACTED ME ABOUT PICTURES FOR THIS YEAR, YOU ARE EXCLUDED FROM THIS TEMPORARY PAUSE IN BOOKING. I love beach pictures!

Last weekend, my friend Renee and her husband, Andy, and son, Garrett, went to Orange Beach to take pictures. We had a great time and the good Lord was watching over us because despite a 60% chance of rain, there was not a drop to be found on the beach! Renee really wanted some maternity pictures before her new little one arrives at the beginning of September and since her grandmother lives in Orange Beach, we took the 3 1/2 hr. drive there on Friday and came back on Sunday. I am thrilled with some of the shots that we got. Here are a few of my favorites...I'll post more later!
