A new purchase

Yesterday, while in Knoxville, TN for work, I stopped by a local, family-owned chocolate shop. I was heading into another store when I passed it and noticed a lot of gift items. Since there are numerous birthday and Christmas gifts that I need to buy, I decided to go in. The store, called Bradley's, was just precious. The walls were painted pink and white stripes, and it was just *calling* me to come in.

So, I purchased a few things (I'll post the rest after the gifts have been delivered!). One of the things I purchased was this cross. I just love it...I especially love the quote! So, I said to myself, "You know what?! This gift is for me!!"

In case you can't read it in the picture, the quote by Erma Bombeck says:

"When I stand before God at the end of my life I would hope that I would have not a single bit of talent left and could say, 'I used everything You gave me.' "

Thank you!

Wow! These past few months have been so busy for me with photographing families and children. Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity to express my creativity by taking you and your family's pictures. It's a great hobby, and I just love doing it!

I have decided to give myself a short break, so I am not taking any more appointments for the month of December. I will still be editing into the month of December, so I am playing *catch up* right now. I will resume taking appts. in January! :)

Of course, I will continue to post more pictures from my shoots.

more of the Sartin sisters

The Sartin Girls

Sorry it's been a while since I've posted...I'm so busy trying to keep up with photo shoots and editing! It's that time of year, and everyone needs their Christmas cards done, so I've been a little preoccupied. But, I know that I have to keep my *loyal blog lurkers* happy!

This little ANGEL is Emilie Sartin. She is 8 months in these photos and her big sister Anna Kate is just 15 months. They were SO GOOD!!! :) We were so excited that Emilie fell asleep...I just love those sleeping babies.

More of the Landry family

The Landry Family

Ok, I'm on a roll...I am working feverishly trying to get as much editing done as I can before I have to leave again tomorrow to go out of town. Now, I even stayed home for the LSU vs. Alabama game to edit your photos!! teeheehee! Don't worry, I watched the game in my warm abode!

So, this is the Landry family...Scott, Phoebe, and Patrick. Oh my goodness...look how gorgeous this little boy is! I just told Phoebe that if he was mine, he would be so bad...how could you fuss at and punish that adorable little thing?! She said, "Oh, you would!"

The Burns Family

These little boys were so fun...Brandon, 5 and Brady, 2. I just love shooting brothers...they always seem to, at some point during the shoot, start acting like brothers!!

Allie Gueho

What a little sweetheart! She is a very soft-spoken little girl...at least she was at the shoot! :) So adorable in her monogrammed dress!

The Smith Kids

Okay, so I've been getting *nasty* emails that I'm not posting everyone's pictures! LOL! Not really, but I am being heckled..."where are our pics?!" I've been SO BUSY with traveling for work and the first Scrapbooking Retreat that my friend Kelly and I hosted in Covington, LA last weekend. BUT, December is a no-travel month for my company...YAY! So, these pics are for Charlotte, Anna, and Amy...these are Charlotte's kids, Will and Campbell. When Charlotte loaded the kids in the car, they had the "I don't want to take pictures!!" attitude. But, when she told them that I was taking them, they couldn't get there fast enough!
