Grezaffi Family {St. Francisville Child and Family Photographer}

Thursday, January 28, 2010

I love photographing the Grezaffi's! Especially at their beautiful home in St. Francisville. Kelly is ready to have baby boy #2 in just a few weeks, so be on the lookout for a newborn session (and hopefully a sibling pic if Charles lets us!).

My sweet nephew {Baton Rouge Child Photographer}

Is he the cutest little 4 year old boy you've ever seen?? I thought so! Brooks has been sitting on the sidelines for 2 years while his older brother got to play. Not this year! It's his turn, and he was loving his soccer games! I just love this kid to death! And, by the way, he's the most polite little boy...uses his manners, even if he's been scolded.

Here are some of the pictures I captured of my sister, Whitney and her husband, Andrew while we were in North Carolina for Thanksgiving!

"Grace Bear" {Louisville Child and Family Photographer}

My sweet little Grace Bear - isn't she beautiful??? Okay, so she's not mine, but she belongs to my sweet friend, Jenny and her husband, Scott. You might remember THESE from when she was 15 days old. :)

In these photos, she is a booming 2 1/2 months old! And the hair is getting redder by the minute, the eyes getting bluer!

Another Smith family! {Baton Rouge family and child photographer}

This Smith family came to me in October or November...actually, I came to them several months ago! It's a long story, but basically, my computer crashed - completely - couldn't do a thing with it. I reached out to Facebook for some help...a friend who lives very close by had a neighbor who was a computer guru and surely he could help...and did he ever! He was able to recover EVERYTHING! It was really by the grace of God that my information was retrieved...he literally tried everything and around 1 am, he decided to try "one more thing." Turns out, that one more thing saved my life! So, I had to repay him the best way I could, which is hardly a reflection of the greatness of my gratitude. But, I gave their family a session. Such a sweet family, and I am so glad to have met them! Thank you again, Smith family!!

*Soon after this instance, I purchased a Mac...go Mac! :)

I also loved their Christmas card! :)

Photo Overload! {Louisville Child and Family Photographer}

Tuesday, January 05, 2010

Here they are again - the Smiths! (I guess I should reference them as the Louisville Smiths, since I photograph several other Smith families!)

Well, here it is: the annual fall photo shoot! Anna and I have been prepping for this photo shoot since LAST October...as in October 2008! We work together on how the Christmas card will look and then plan for the shoot around that. Since we wanted to incorporate the red couch again (click HERE to see the red couch in last year's shoot), we had to do something completely different. I just love the way it turned out with the deep jewel tones in their clothing along with the pop of the red couch and the red brick!

Okay, enough babbling - this post will be long enough! Don't say I didn't warn you...
