Goodbye, old friend

My dear old friend,

You've been with me for over 14 years.  I admit, I took you for granted at times.  But, you've been with me through the good times and the bad, through the tears of laughter and the tears of sadness, through the days and nights (literally).  And, I don't mean to sound ungrateful, because I am truly grateful for you, but I am glad to see you finally go!  So to you, my dear contact lens, I bid you farewell.  You are no longer needed...but it was fun while it lasted!

Thank you, Anna and Kenny, for taking such good care of me!  Thank you to everyone at the Louisville location of Joffe MediCenter for such a great LASIK surgery experience!  And thanks to all my family and friends (especially Harrison and Holden) who prayed that I would experience a sense of peace and calmness during my surgery - I truly felt calm and was not anxious all day - and I have a witness to prove it!  I truly couldn't fathom being as calm as I was, seeing as though I was a WRECK on my pre-op day just 5 days earlier.  I have the Lord to thank for that.
